Description
Substance use evaluations for individuals in need of withdrawal and stabilization services (detox). Offers medically managed treatment to safely assist patients who are experiencing withdrawal from alcohol and/or other substances. An interdisciplinary team is available to assist patients in managing their moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms. Care and treatment includes psychosocial assessment, medical history and physical, individual therapy, group counseling, medication for addiction treatment, peer support, and referral and linkages to aftercare treatment programs.

Intake Process
Individuals interested in an evaluation for withdrawal and stabilization services can report to ECMC’s Emergency Department. Substance use counselors are available in the Emergency Department 24 hours a day to provide substance use disorder evaluations.
Program Fees
Sliding scale, Medicaid, and third part insurance accepted.
