Food Safety Education, Nutrition Education
Description
Helps residents with limited resources achieve lifelong health and fitness. EFNEP teaches healthy habits through interactive discussion and hands-on activities. Families learn about healthier food choices, physical activity, stretching food dollars, and food safety. Classes are held in both community and one-on-one home settings, as well as distance learning via Zoom and Facebook Live.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Eligibility
Parents and other caregivers raising children or providing substantial care to children and who may receive assistance such as WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, HEAP, and others.
