Child Passenger Safety Education, Child Passenger Safety Seats
Description
Assists low income families and others to access the correct seat for their child at every age. Car seats are made available for free to parents and legal guardians of children from birth until the child is ready to ride safely without a seat. Booster seats for older children are available. Assistance is meant to be one-time only.

Eligibility
Must meet the following requirements:
- Family must be low-income; this includes those who receive benefits through WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF.
- One of the child's primary caregivers must attend a 1-hour class about child passenger safety.
- Someone in the household must have a vehicle.
Service Area: Allegany, Cattaraugus, & Chautauqua Counties.
