Description
Offers classes with an evidence based curriculum (PreventT2) proven to prevent or delay the progression of prediabetes into the onset of type 2 diabetes and other serious health problems by introducing realistic lifestyle changes and goals.
Prediabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough yet to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes. Approximately 84 million American adults have prediabetes. Of those with prediabetes, 90% don't know they have it.
Diabetes Management Programs: Help people with diabetes to take control of their diabetes and live healthier lives. An expert diabetes team (Certified Diabetes Educator/RN, Registered Dietician, Health Educator, Pharmacist, etc.) teaches people what they need to know to feel better and help avoid complications of diabetes. Classes, support groups, and one-one education available.
