Description
Assists individuals from Burma/Myanmar (all ethnicities such as Burmese, Karen, Karenni, Shan, and others) including those from Thailand and Laos with various issues including but not limited to language barriers, cultural adjustment, and assistance with services and resources. Also promotes understanding of American culture, the fostering of self-sufficiency, and the advancement of public awareness regarding the various issues among refugee and immigrants' basic needs.

Services include social service benefit application and re-certification assistance along with referrals for legal, housing, family matters, public benefit, health and disability, immigration matters, labor and employment, consumer issues, and education issues.

Hours
Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.

Eligibility
Refugees and immigrants from Burma/Myanmar (all ethnicities such as Burmese, Karen, Karenni, Shan, and others), including those from Thailand and Laos who reside in Erie and Niagara Counties.

Intake Process
Call ahead for an appointment. Will need to bring photo ID and proof of income.
