Description
Implements services to meet the social, economic, and physical needs of senior citizens, improve their quality of life, and enable them to remain active and viable members of the community.

Services include:
- Medical Transportation
- Senior Discount Card
- Monthly newsletter
- Information and referral services
- Recreational and leisure programming, including outings and day trips

Also operates two Senior Centers in the City of Buffalo: Autumnwood Manor Senior Citizen Center and Summer/Richmond Senior Citizen Center (see separate listings).

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Medical Van:
Appointment pickup (going to) available from 8:30am-12:30pm.
Must be ready to return from appointment no later than 2:30pm.

Eligibility
Senior citizens; must be 55 or older for senior discount card, and 62 or older for medical transportation.

Service Area: City of Buffalo.

Intake Process
Call or walk in.

Medical Van: Appointments must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance (first come first served) until schedule is full.

Program Fees
Many services are free.

Medical Van: $3 one way, $4 round trip.

Accessibility
Medical Van is not wheelchair accessible; must be able to enter and exit vehicle without assistance.
