Social Skills Training
Description
Program seeks to enhance:
- Self-Regulation Skills: needed to manage one's feelings and behaviors to adjust to the changing conditions of the environment for optimal engagement
- Conversation Skills: using language to take part in reciprocal and meaningful exchanges
- Cooperation Skills: problem-solving, compromising, and understanding others' perspectives to establish and maintain relationships
- Generalization Skills: communicating effectively across social situations and adjusting social behaviors to meet the listener's needs and environmental conditions

Intake Process
A comprehensive speech and language evaluation needs to be completed and can be scheduled at any BHSC clinic. A book and supply fee payment can be made at any point in the process. This payment officially enrolls the child and secures their placement.
Program Fees
Call for details about program fees. Book and supply fee is an out of pocket expense. Program may be billable to health insurance as habilitative speech-language therapy. Financial assistance may be available based on need.
