Intake Process
Clients receiving treatment can self refer or be referred to this program by a mental health provider.
Volunteers must submit an application, undergo an interview, and be cleared through references, finger printing, and a police background check. Volunteers will then undergo training before being matched with a client.
If a potential match is found between volunteer and client, the volunteer and a compeer coordinator will meet with the client's mental health provider before the match is established.
