Description
A non-profit organization committed to building diversity in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields by encouraging, supporting, and preparing minority and underrepresented students in the Buffalo area to pursue a career in the technical and STEM fields. BEAM is dedicated to increasing the number of minorities and females entering engineering and technical careers.

Collaborates with industry leaders to provide free, high-quality, hands-on learning to students in grades Pre-K to 12 through Saturday Academies (including Robotics and Creative Building), BEAM Robotics, Society of Women Engineers Competitions, and Summer Programming (in conjunction with Buffalo & Erie County Summer Youth).

Hours
Saturday Academy (Grades K-12): First Saturday of the month, 10am-1pm.

Eligibility
Students must have an interest in engineering and/or technical fields.

Service Area: WNY.

Intake Process
Applications available on website. Due dates change annually; call for more information.
