Description
A community focal point where seniors ages 60 and older can come together. Provides a variety of programs and services, including:
- Erie County Nutrition Program
- Boutique store
- Choral group
- Classes (art, dance, exercise)
- Clubs (social, reading, sewing, singles, couples)
- Dances, dinners, luncheons, and parties
- Games (bingo, board games, cards, pool, table tennis)
- Medical programs
- Movie program
- Special events
- University Express Classes
- Wood shop

Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat; always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Cooling Center (for week of June 17th, 2024): Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6pm.

Eligibility
Senior citizens ages 60 and older.

Service Area: Erie County.

Intake Process
Must come to the senior center to sign up and become a member. Must provide proof of residency if joining as a resident.

Program Fees
Memberships cost $17 per year for Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore residents, and $25 per year for non-residents.
