Eligibility
Service Area: NYS.

Intake Process
To get information about Level 2 and Level 3 sex offenders, search the Sex Offender Registry online directory at https://www.criminaljustice.ny.gov/SomsSUBDirectory/search_index.jsp

To get information about Level 1 sex offenders and offenders whose risk levels have not yet been determined by a judge, call 800-262-3257 during the hours specified above. Callers must have an individual's name and one of the following – an exact address, date of birth, driver's license number, or Social Security number – to learn if that individual is on the Registry.

Employers, children’s camp operators, and volunteer organizations can submit search requests directly to the Registry. Learn more about that process here: https://www.criminaljustice.ny.gov/nsor/800info_cdsubmit.htm
