Community Gardening
Description
Enables community-led efforts to revitalize the city and enhance quality of life through the creation and maintenance of community gardens, which beautify blocks, offer space to grow healthy food, and strengthen neighborhood spirit. Assists city residents with starting community gardens on vacant lots in their neighborhood. Applications are released in the spring, and are due December 1st of every year.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.
Eligibility
Residents of the City of Buffalo and City of Niagara Falls.
Intake Process
Complete application; applications are released in the spring and due December 1st of every year.
