Description
Offers clothing exchange, baby items (including baby food, formula, and diapers), and household items.
Provides a shelter for families who are literally homeless. No supportive staff are available.
Provides household furniture and appliances, including baby furniture, for low prices or (with an agency referral) no cost to the client. Accepts donations of furniture and appliances.
Provides turkeys during the Thanksgiving season; first come, first served while supplies last.
During the Christmas season, provides a Toy Store/Depot for families with children ages infant to 18 residing in the Village of Cattaraugus and surrounding areas who are undergoing hardship. Families shop through the store for their children while the children are entertained with holiday activities. Applications are given out and accepted back at Trading Post South, 11 Washington Street and the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School, 25 North Franklin Street, but the event itself takes place at the Community Cares Center, 26 Mill Street in Cattaraugus. 2025 event will take place on December 13th from 2pm-5pm.

Shelter is limited. No emergency or after hours intake is available. It is best to call or walk in during the open hours.

Program Fees
All services are free except for household furniture and appliances, which have a low cost unless the client has an agency referral, in which case there is no cost to the client.
