Description
Offers clothing exchange, baby items (including baby food, formula, and diapers), car seats, car seat installation, household items, and life skills classes.
Provides a shelter for families who are literally homeless. No supportive staff are available.
Provides household furniture and appliances, including baby furniture, for low prices or (with an agency referral) no cost to the client. Accepts donations of furniture and appliances.
During the holiday season, provides a Toy Store/Depot for families with children ages infant to 18 residing in the Village of Cattaraugus and surrounding areas and who are undergoing a hardship or financial crisis; program closed for 2023. Families shop through the store for their children while the children are entertained with holiday activities. Although applications are given out and accepted back at 11 Washington Street, the event itself takes place at the Community Cares Center at 26 Mill Street in Cattaragus.

By appointment only; call 716-257-3077.
Shelter is limited. No emergency or after hours intake is available. It is best to call or walk in during the open hours.

Program Fees
All services are free except for household furniture and appliances, which have a low cost unless the client has an agency referral, in which case there is no cost to the client.
