Controls and investigates diseases that can pass from person to person, including sexually-transmitted infections, HIV, and AIDS. Provides lead poisoning prevention, immunization clinics, flu clinics, maternal and child health visits, and confidential testing and follow-up for TB (tuberculosis),
When needed and ordered by the Health Care Provider, certain Public Health Nursing services may be provided in the home.
