Description
Offers appropriate, affordable, and timely intervention and support for families of children in the Sweet Home School District with issues related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/self-image, substance use, family conflicts, peer relationships, or serious academic and/or behavioral concerns. Can also assist parents/caregivers with their own counseling needs and/or parenting support.
Offers on-site clinical mental health counseling for students and families, provided by Gateway-Longview Behavioral Health Clinic, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Catholic Charities, and Williamsville Wellness Center. Families may be linked to locations in the community for counseling as well.
Will also connect families seeking health insurance, financial assistance, housing, recreation programs, etc. with human service organizations and community resources that can help with these specific needs.
Sponsors programs on a variety of topics, including Common Sense Parenting, mental health awareness, bullying prevention, and drug/alcohol use prevention.
Also provides a resource library for parents and adolescents offering materials related to parenting, adolescent, and social issues.

Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
