Description
Assesses, validates, oversees, and facilitates prevention, resilience, identification, treatment, outreach, rehabilitation, and reintegration programs for psychological health and traumatic brain injury to ensure the Department of Defense meets the needs of the nation's military communities, warriors, and families.
Also provides advocacy services to active military, veterans, and their families, and serves as a clearinghouse for resources dealing with military issues. Services include advocacy, specialized information and referral, and veteran's benefits assistance. Services are targeted at individuals dealing with mental health issues and traumatic brain injuries.
