Description
Responsible for maintaining all records of the Town of Tonawanda. Maintains records of minutes of all Town Board and various other boards and statutory authority and advisory authority.
Collects all taxes and assessments and receives all claims. Issues licenses for bingo, bell jar games, and games of chance. Issues sporting, marriage, trailer park, and dog licenses. Issues handicapped parking tags for residents. Receives and processes all water bill payments made to the Town. Maintains all original vital records relative to the citizens of the town dating back to 1887. Issues birth and death certificates.
Processes applications for United States Passports and provides passport photo services. Serves as the Freedom of Information Officer for the Town.
Payments may be dropped off at any time at the convenient 24-hour drop box located on the Delaware Avenue side of the building.
