Description
Public bus services for Erie and Niagara Counties. Public rail services for Erie County.

Public para-transit service, PAL, available for those who are unable to use fixed route service.

Reduced Fare Program allows individuals with a temporary or permanent disability and senior citizens ages 65 and above to ride the metro bus and rail at a reduced rate.

Parks Adventure Bus: From June 18th thru August 13th, 2022, NFTA-Metro will be offering free Saturday bus service to transport riders to seven of Western New York's most popular parks, including Knox Farm State Park, Chestnut Ridge Park, Fort Niagara State Park, Como Lake Park, Beaver Island State Park, Akron Falls Park, and Evangola State park. Intake Process
Contact Paratransit Customer Service at 716-855-7268 for Paratransit Access Line applications and information. Information and applications also available online at metro.nfta.com. To receive NFTA printed material in an accessible format, contact 716-855-7286.

Reduced Fare Program: Contact 716-855-6611 for the Reduced Fare Program applications and information. Applications are processed in person at the Customer Information Center, 181 Ellicott Street, Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm. Applicants can also mail an application to Reduced Fare Program, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. In Niagara County, photos for the Reduced Fare identification card are taken at 11th and Portage Road, by appointment only; walk-ins without pre-approval are not accepted; must have letter when attending photo session.

Program Fees
$2.00 each boarding, $1.00 with reduced fare;
$5.00 day pass, $2.50 with reduced fare;
$75.00 monthly pass, $37.50 with reduced fare;
$4.00 paratransit one way trip;
$25.00 7 Day Pass, $12.50 with reduced fare;
$35.00 PAL Pass for 10 trips;
$70.00 PAL Pass for 20 trips.
