Description
Responsible for the certification and inspection of hospitals, nursing homes, and home care agencies. Conducts investigation and resolution of complaints against hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies, and physicians. Also evaluates HMO performance and investigates consumer and provider complaints against HMOs.
Provides uninsured and underinsured care programs, as well as HIV counseling and testing. Also provides consultation, oversight, and monitoring of programs addressing public health needs in the areas of child adolescent health, family planning, immunization, nutrition, communicable diseases, and environmental health matters.

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:45pm.

Buffalo Office Service Area: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, & Wyoming Counties.
