Description
Works to improve the overall availability of housing and quality of residential neighborhoods within the City of Lockport. This includes partnering with local and regional agencies to help offer assistance, opportunities, and other programs to make homeownership accessible, as well as offering resources for skills development to increase employment and economic growth opportunities for individuals in need.

Administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, a federal program that provides funding for housing and community development. Funds are intended for the following objectives:
- Benefiting low and moderate-income (LMI) persons
- Aiding in the prevention or elimination of slums and blight
- Meeting community development needs having a particular urgency because existing conditions pose a serious and immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community and other financial resources are not available to meet such needs.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
