Description
Recreation programs are available year-round for Residents and Non-residents, of all ages ranging from Toddlers to Seniors.
Program facilities are located throughout Grand Island: Nike Base on Grand Island (Whitehaven Rd), Grand Island’s Veterans Park (Bedell Rd), and other parks and school facility locations on Grand Island.
- Adult programs (ages 18+) include Fitness, Nutrition, Music, Arts and Crafts. Adult Leagues are Softball, Soccer & Volleyball. Adult open gym basketball.
- Youth and Toddler programs (ages range from 3 to 15) include a variety of athletic, arts & crafts, music, dance, theatre, and nature programs. Some Youth programs offer field trips off Island.
- Adaptive programs (ages range from 5 to 21), bowling, themed social nights, fitness, cooking, and baking.
- Special Town hosted events include Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Service, 4th of July Parade, Dick Bessel Independence Day Run, Paddles Up Niagara, and Veterans Day Ceremony.
- Rentals: Community Center is available to rent for private functions or Organization meetings.
