Description
Erie County's chief prosecutor. Responsible for the investigation and just prosecution of persons accused of crime.

The office’s Victim/Witness Services Bureau provides supportive services to crime victims, witnesses, and their family members (see separate listing for details).

The BE SAFE Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy Program specializes in advocacy within the criminal courts, but can also provide support, safety planning, and referrals to survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence who do not have a pending criminal case against the offender (see separate listing for details).

Upon request, the office provides community outreach and education regarding the criminal justice system, as well as the topics of domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, child abuse, and teen dating violence so as to spread awareness regarding these issues and prevent their occurrence.

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
