Parenting Skills Classes, Protection and Advocacy for Individuals With Disabilities

Description
Provides parenting/advocacy training and support to individuals and their families where at least one family member (parent or child) has a developmental disability. Serves Native American and Non-Native families. Service uses a hands-on, one-on-one approach. ARDC staff works with outside agencies such as schools, courts, counseling, and social service agencies to provide support to individuals and their families. Advocacy is also offered to individuals and their families to assist them with medical, dental, and specialist appointments to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Eligibility
Individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Service Area: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, & Southern Erie Counties.
