High School Equivalency/GED Test Instruction

Description
Training program designed for basic job readiness skills with an initial focus on high school equivalency or HS diploma attainment, followed by one or more pathways to success, including entry-level employment, post-secondary education, registered apprenticeship, or military. Programs include on-site high school equivalency exam preparation instruction, multiple occupational certification trainings, and "hands-on" field experiences with opportunities for paid work experience, educational field trips, team-building activities, earning of stipends, and numerous volunteer opportunities that support the community.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Eligibility
Youth 16-24 years old committed to high school equivalency exam preparation and meeting one of the following characteristics:
- High school drop out
- Homeless, runaway, or in foster care
- Pregnant or parenting
- Having disabilities
- Having low income and therefore requiring additional assistance to enter or complete an education program or hold a job

May be required to pass a drug test during program.

Service Area: Erie County.

Intake Process
Call or visit the office. Complete an application and make an appointment for an interview.

Free.
