Description
Provides foster care and adoption services for children referred by Erie County DSS. Provides safe temporary family care for children who must be removed from their home because of abuse and neglect. Provides services to parents to help them acquire the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to parent their children safely and reunite their family. When this is not possible, the program provides safe and permanent homes for children through adoption. Also recruits, screens, trains, and supports foster and adoptive parents.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Eligibility
Residents of Erie County ages birth to 21.
Adults 21 years old and older may become foster parents.

Children are placed through referral from the county.
