Court Ordered Parenting Programs, Parenting Skills Classes

Description
Parenting education workshop for parents who are referred by the courts, other agencies, as well as self-referred parents who are not involved with the courts. Challenges such as substance abuse, mental health, custody and domestic violence are a few of the reasons parents attend the program. Several groups run at the same time and parents are placed in groups according to the age of their children. Workshop meets 3 hours once a week for 8 weeks.

Eligibility
While court referrals are a primary source of referrals to this program, it will serve most parents who are in need of parenting education.

Intake Process
Participant must call and answer a few questions to establish eligibility and register. Register in advance and there may be a waiting period to receive services. Leave a message if someone does not answer; will try to reply within 48 hours.
