Supervised Living for Older Youth

Description
Supportive community living for parenting youth ages 14-21 in the foster care system. Provides the opportunity for youth to raise their children in a supportive home while working on goals related to permanency, self-sufficiency, and parenting. Each resident contributes to the care of the home by doing daily chores and preparing meals. Youth participate in regular community meetings related to issues within the home. Youth are connected to school, work, vocational training, day care services, medical services, and mental health services. Facility is comprised of 8 bedrooms, a shared dining room, living room, kitchen, and bathrooms.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Facility open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Eligibility
Parenting youth ages 14-21 years old in the foster care system.

Service Area: Erie County.

Program Fees
Youth's residency is paid for through the Erie County Department of Social Services.
