Supervised Living for Older Youth
Description
12 supervised, supportive apartments for parenting youth in the foster care system. Allows youth to voluntarily remain in the foster care system so that they can continue to pursue goals related to education and independent living. Supportive services available to residents include parenting skills training, mentoring program, life skills training, case management, and linkage to counseling, education, and vocational services. Facility includes a children's activity center, administrative offices, laundry facility, multipurpose room, and storage room, with administrative staff or child care worker available at the front desk at all times.
Hours
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Eligibility
Parenting youth ages 18-21 years old in the foster care system.
