Description
WNY homeowners, renters, and landlords can apply for a free or reduced cost comprehensive home energy assessment that will tell them where their building is losing the most energy. Community Energy Advisors can connect clients with low cost financing, rebates, and grants toward energy efficiency and weatherization upgrades. Possible measures include weather stripping, air sealing, insulation, customer education, and appliance upgrades. Upgrades do not include windows, roofs, or building repair.

Eligibility
Homeowners, small businesses, nonprofits, and renters in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, & Niagara Counties.

Program Fees
Support and guidance are free. All New York State residents qualify for a free home assessment. Recommended upgrades to the home vary. Grants, rebates, and low interest loans are available depending on income.
