Description
A New York State Office of Mental Health licensed clinic. Staff serve children from two to 21 years of age and provide diagnostic and treatment services to Western New York youth and their families who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral disturbances or family relationship problems. Offers diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual, family, parent-child and group psychotherapies; psychiatric evaluation and consultation; medication management; and advocacy with and consultation to schools, social services, or other agencies serving clinic patients.

The clinic is also home to the University at Buffalo's residency training program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Specialty Treatment Clinics have been developed within Children's Psychiatry Clinic. Clinics provide treatment to specialty populations including eating disorders, Tourette Syndrome, dually diagnosed children who present with mental health and developmental concerns, medically compromised youth, and preschool age children.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm; evening & early morning appointments available.

Eligibility
Youth age 2-18 with behavioral or emotional disorders.
