Description
Housing opportunity for elderly persons 62 and older. Project is a 64-unit which provides rental assistance so that rent including utilities will be 30% of the tenant's income. All units are one-bedroom rental apartments.
Development contains elevators, lounges, a library, community multipurpose room, sitting areas in lobbies, laundry room, senior activities, and support program facilities. Equipment provided in each apartment includes a stove, refrigerator, carpet in living/dining area and bedroom, exhaust fans in kitchen and bath, phone and TV hook-ups, emergency call systems, remote front door system, smoke and heat detectors, and sprinklers.
Through various community partnerships, YWCA WNY continually works to enrich and expand community engagement opportunities, expand support services, and provide regular social activities for all School House Commons residents.
