Description
A regionally focused organization created to support activities that improve quality of life for people who live in the seven counties of Western New York. Supports exemplary nonprofit leaders and organizations meeting the community needs of the Western New York region, helping them operate more effectively and efficiently by making targeted investments (grants) in specific capacities that will meet the unique characteristics and needs of each individual nonprofit.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Eligibility
Grants are limited to non-profit organizations that have obtained tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Code and that are headquartered and physically located in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, or Wyoming County.
Grants are not made to/for the following types of entities/purposes:
- Religious Organizations / Religious Purposes
- Political Organizations, Campaigns, or Candidates
- Municipal or Government
- Individuals
- Fund-Raising Events, i.e. Sponsorships, Tables, Dinners, and Telethons
- Endowments
- Scholarships
- Operating Expenses
- Capital Campaigns
