Description
Works to empower and ensure prosperity in the Erie County community by building pathways toward gainful employment and well-being. Offers free employment services to job seekers 55 years of age and over as well as employers seeking qualified job candidates throughout all of Erie County. Services for job seekers include resume preparation, development of interviewing skills, training opportunities, job placement assistance for full and part-time positions, and “Making Your Age an Asset," an intensive workshop covering employment related issues to the mature job seeker.
Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP): Provides part-time community service assignments to senior individuals at local non-profit, governmental, and public agencies while they continue to seek employment outside of the program.
Also offers weatherization services (see separate listing for Weatherization Assistance Program).

Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4pm.
