Description
Provides public education, advocacy, and legal counsel for those whose civil liberties have been violated by the government, legislators, or public officials. Civil liberties are the fundamental rights embodied in the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to demonstrate, equal protection, and due process of law. Information and referral for general legal questions, and also information on voting rights.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Eligibility
Service Area: Allegheny, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties.
Intake Process
Call. No walk-ins.
Program Fees
No cost for cases that we can assist with.
