Description
Provides senior citizen case management services; housing related services including an affordable home ownership program (see separate listing for Home Ownership Assistance) and emergency repair programs; a home weatherization assistance program; GED prep, work skills training, and ESL classes; homeless outreach services (see listing for Matt Urban Hope Center); and a food pantry and clothing closet (see listing for Matt Urban Hope Center Food Pantry).
Facilitates after-school and summer programming for youth at two agency operated community centers and in 5 neighborhood public schools (see separate listing for TJ Dulski Community Center). Owns and manages multiple affordable apartment complexes in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood and facilitates a permanent supportive housing program (see listings for Hope Gardens and Housing First). Operates an urban diner at The Hope Center located at 385 Paderewski Drive on weekdays from 2pm-5pm (see separate listing for Matt Urban Hope Center).
Member of the WNY Holiday Partnership which provides toys and gifts to low income families for the winter holidays (see separate listings).
