Description
Helps eligible patients with certain blood cancers defray the cost of insurance co-payments and insurance premiums.
Provides adult family support groups. National network of long-term survivor peer counselors available to speak to newly diagnosed patients.
Information and referrals for patients who have leukemia and related cancers to both national and local service providers. Provides free educational seminars for patients and their families; topics include long-term survival, clinical trials, surviving chemotherapy, etc.
Assistance for children, as they make the transition from the cancer treatment center back into the classroom.
Supports research programs locally and nationally. Offers an advocates network, seeking to influence federal government research appropriations.
Also has opportunities for community service, public, and professional education.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Eligibility
Individuals with a diagnosis of Leukemia, Hodgkins, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, or other related syndromes, as well as family and friends of these diagnosed individuals.
Intake Process
Clients are encouraged to call to obtain services.
