In Home Assistance Registries
Description
A non-profit referral service that links seniors and others needing assistance in Erie and Niagara Counties and surrounding areas with qualified caregivers allowing them to remain independent in their own homes. Caregivers are pre-screened through background checks, personal interviews, reference checks, and training verification.
Hours
Phones answered Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Messages left on voicemail outside of these hours will be returned the next business day.
Eligibility
Open to all, with a focus on the elderly and infirm.

Call for information about receiving assistance or registering as a caregiver.
Program Fees
Referral service is free.
Rate of payment for care and assistance is mutually agreed upon by the person requesting services and the service provider, following HART's recommended rates. Neither the requester of assistance nor the service provider pay a fee to HART. Payment is made directly to the service provider/caregiver by the person requesting services.
