Equestrian Therapy
Description
Provides therapeutic horseback riding, indoor/outdoor horseback riding lessons, and adaptive games on horseback for people with and without disabilities. When necessary, an assessment is provided by a physical therapist prior to instruction and mounting. Works with riders to develop goals for their therapeutic and recreational experiences. For riders ages 12 and under, a parent or guardian must be present during lessons and activities.
Hours
Monday-Saturday, by appointment.

People of all ages with and without disabilities (physical and/or intellectual).

Intake Process
Registration forms can be downloaded from website or requested by email or in-person visit at the facility. Riders with physical disabilities and/or known medical conditions (such as seizures) MUST have their doctor fill out Centaur Stride's physician release form prior to scheduling a lesson. Riders or their guardians should call to set up evaluations and lessons.
Program Fees
$35.00 per lesson.
