Equestrian Therapy
Description
Provides therapeutic horseback riding for indoor/outdoor horseback riding lessons and adaptive games on horseback. Assessment provided by a physical therapist prior to instruction and mounting horse. Goals discussed to provide therapeutic and recreational experience. Parent or guardian must be present.
Hours
Monday-Saturday, by appointment.
Eligibility
Persons of all ages who are physically handicapped, learning disabled, or developmentally disabled.
Intake Process
Call for registration forms or download them from website. Call to set up evaluations. Must have a referral/prescription from a doctor.
Program Fees
$30.00 per lesson.
