Description
The Cornell Cooperative Extension links the research from Cornell University and applies it to maximize New York State's agricultural and natural resources. It also provides programming, services, and information regarding sustainability, nutrition, food safety, obesity prevention, and youth development/education (through the 4-H program). It is committed to contributing to NYS communities and empowering their futures. Provides services across five sectors: Agriculture, Community, Environment, Nutrition, and Youth/Families.

Below are some of the programs offered by Orleans County CCE:
- 4-H Program
- Orleans County 4-H Fair
- Orleans County Digital Literacy Initiative
- Horticulture Program
- SNAP Education
- Master Gardener volunteer group
- Master Food Preserver volunteer group

The Orleans County Digital Literacy Initiative provides assistance with development of computer skills.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Open to all.

Program Fees
Most programs are free. Some workshops and classes have fees to cover the costs of materials or special speakers.

Agricultural enrollment for farms has an annual fee.
