Description
Provides 24-hour emergency services and "in-hospital" skilled nursing facility. Provides Cardiac Services, Surgical Services, Medical Surgical Unit, Wound Care Center, Transitional Care Unit, Imaging Services/X-Ray including MRI, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Echocardiography, Lab Services, Respiratory Services, and Health Insurance Assistance (NYS of Health).
Wound Care Center is staffed with a unique team of doctors, nurses, and therapists dedicated to healing chronic wounds. The causes of wounds are complex and the wound care team represents expertise in all major areas necessary to handle varied circumstances and challenges.
Transitional Care Program: A hospital-based program that is a comprehensive in-patient program for the individual who has had an acute medical or surgical event as a result of an illness, injury, or exacerbation of a disease process. The "close to home" quality program offers an outcome-focused interdisciplinary approach which includes the patient and family and utilizes a professional team including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists as needed to deliver clinical interventions (medial and/or rehabilitation).
