Description
Provides emergency services. Can coordinate transportation and provide referrals for clothing and counseling. Can provide vouchers to the local thrift store for individuals in need of attire for a job interview.
Assists families to become as independent and self-sufficient as possible through the Family Development Program.
When funding is available, provides rent assistance in emergency situations under specific circumstances; clients should reach out and share their circumstances to learn whether they'd be eligible.
Offers Weatherization Program.
Angels in Action helps increase Community Action's ability to help all people including those whose income does not fall within the normal guidelines for services. Programs include crisis services, children's carnival, holiday baskets, and golf tournament. For holiday baskets, see separate listing for Holiday Programs - Community Action of Orleans & Genesee.

Residents of Orleans County with financial need.
Intake Process
Call for appointment. Client's temperature will be taken before entering. Client must use the sanitizing station and then sign in.
