Weatherization Programs
Description
Weatherization methods include heating efficiency measures such as a cleaning and tuning of the furnace or boiler repairs; infiltration measures such as weather-stripping, caulking, repair or replacement of windows and exterior doors; provision of interior or exterior storm windows; conduction measures such as insulation; and repairs.
After approval of application, a comprehensive professional energy audit of the applicant's home will be conducted. Based on the audit and the funds available, weatherization measures will be installed. When work has been completed, a post-inspection will be completed to ensure adherence to state weatherization program standards.
