Early Identification Programs, Early Intervention for Children With Disabilities/Delays

Description
Provides evaluations for Cattaraugus County children whose parents have concerns with their child's developmental achievements. Areas of development assessment are: cognitive, physical (including vision and hearing), social/emotional, adaptive development, and communication. After assessment, if the child meets eligibility she or he will receive services through the Early Intervention Program.

Child Find, part of the Early Intervention program, aims to make sure that all children have a primary care physician and insurance coverage as well as promote the availability of developmental screening and necessary services.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm except holidays.

Eligibility
Children, birth to 3 years, whose parents have concerns about their child's developmental achievements.

Service Area: Cattaraugus County.

Intake Process
Parents may call the office directly or be referred by anyone with parent consent.

Free.
