Description
Provides up to $50,000 for qualifying emergency repairs to eligible homeowners impacted by the tornadoes and flooding that occurred across New York State in July 2024. Grants will be awarded based on a scope of work approved by local administrators according to program guidelines.
Homeowners in affected regions (see Eligibility below) can apply to receive funding to cover the cost of urgent repairs necessary to bring their home into a safe and habitable condition.

Eligibility
Low- and moderate-income homeowners in Chautauqua, Erie, Essex, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, and Warren Counties who were impacted by the tornadoes and flooding that occurred across New York State in July 2024. To qualify, a homeowner's income must be at or below 100 percent of Area Median Income.
