Description
Works to fight food injustice by providing fresh produce, food, and meals at affordable prices to underserved populations; providing services and training to underserved populations throughout Western New York; and helping to develop young minds to become leaders in green industries and agriculture through educational programming for elementary and high school students that teaches nutrition and farming.

Offers the Fruit & Veggies Prescription Program (FVRx) which increases food access and nutrition education for patients and their healthcare providers, who write prescription vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables. Patients can then spend these vouchers at BGG's mobile markets.

Also offers the Fresh Take Healthy Meal Initiative which aims to reduce food insecurity and health disparities within Buffalo's marginalized neighborhoods by providing nutritious and affordable meals in accessible locations, including corner stores and churches through a partnership with the Healthy Corner Store Initiative.

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Eligibility
Open to all, with services focused geographically in Buffalo's marginalized/underserved neighborhoods, which notably includes the East Side of Buffalo.
