Provides financial assistance for homeowners to make essential repairs to their homes, including essential handicapped accessibility work.

Eligibility
- Property must be within Erie County EXCEPT for the City of Buffalo and Towns of Tonawanda, Amherst, Cheektowaga, and Hamburg (and villages within)
- Property taxes must be up to date
- Homeowners insurance must be in effect
- Cost of repairs cannot exceed $20,000
- Typical work items include upgrading of mechanical systems such as plumbing, heat and electric, roofing, siding, windows, and doors
- Essential handicapped work is also eligible

Maximum household income cannot exceed:
- 1 person: $44,240
- 2 people: $50,560
- 3 people: $56,880
- 4 people: $63,120
- 5 people: $68,240
- 6 people: $73,280
- 7 people: $78,320
- 8 people: $83,360
