Occupation Specific Job Training
Description
Provides four weeks of targeted skills training at no charge to eligible applicants and connects participants directly with hiring employers in the community.
Specialized training available for careers in technology at the Buffalo Career Center. Training topics include OSHA 10 (with certification), forklift operation, shop math, CyberSafe (with certification), financial literacy, resume building, and job interview skills with practice.
Also provides access to a personalized Career Coach for up to three years.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
Eligibility
Open to any adult over 18 years old residing in Chautauqua, Erie, or Niagara County with:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Some work history
- No recent arrests or pending court dates
- A valid ID to present for employment purposes (assistance available for obtaining this prior to enrollment)
- Commitment to attending trainings Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm, for four weeks and attending a Goodskills Job Fair
