Co-Parenting Workshops, Court Ordered Parenting Programs

Description
An education and awareness program for separated and/or divorced parents and significant others who want to reduce conflict and parent effectively for their children. Topics covered include the impact of separation/divorce on children, cooperative and parallel approaches to co-parenting, legal issues related to custody and/or access, alternatives to litigation, and methods of communication and problem-solving.

Hours
Contact Monday-Friday, 8:45am-4:45pm.

Sessions are scheduled based on groups' needs and availability.

Eligibility
Court ordered or self-referral.

Service Area: Genesee, Orleans, & Wyoming Counties.

Intake Process
To request an application, call or go online. Provide a copy of court order or referral with the application. Enrollment form can be faxed to 716-896-4236 or via email to michele.wittman@ccwny.org.

Parents are typically referred or ordered by Family or Supreme Courts upon filing for divorce or if there are problems regarding child custody and/or access.

Program Fees
$75 for a 4-week module; sliding scale if client cannot afford this cost.
